I'm sure like many others you might be wondering whether or not you'll be able to develop a six figure income from your MLM or Online marketing opportunity. Whether you'll be able to make the kind of money that you so richly deserve, that will allow you to do all those things that you have been dreaming about for so long. Wondering whether or not you'll be able to make the transition to home business success.
You might have tried a number of so called get-rich-quick schemes and maybe some legitimate ones that have promised so much, yet have delivered so little. You also know that there is no such thing as a "free lunch" where you're being ask to just join a program, you don't have to do anything for the money to start rolling in. Yeah right! How long are they going to continue insulting our intelligence?
The truth of the matter is that anyone can make money from their online business. Remember, "You can make as much money as you want, if you know how to market effectively." If you make the commitment to aquire the skills necessary, you can have home business success.
That being said, how many of these people going into new businesses, especially on the internet know how to market effectively? How many of you are ready for success with your home business?
Based on my experience in online marketing and with all the hype and misleading information out there, it would seem that every second person online is a success story. There are so many so called teachers and top income earners online that it could sometimes make you feel very inadequate, seeing as if you are the only one not making any money. But is this a true picture of what's going on?
While there are many people making some serious income online - that's just a small percentage of the millions who are trying to make it. What I see is that most of the people who start an online business don't have a clue about marketing. They are given a website and told to get traffic to that website in order to make sales. When they fail to make sales they give up and blame the system.
Online marketing probably offers the most powerful opportunity for success with your home business. You can develop some serious income over time, but you need to get the basics right. Getting into it without a plan could get you frustrated and feeling as if you're not capable of getting it right.
These are 10 tips and ideas that I've found to be very helpful in my quest for success in my home business:
1. Be very sure in your mind that this is something that you want to do. If you're not sure about this don't even start. (Identify the WHY)
2. Make a decision to do whatever it takes to get the job done. There are going to be difficult times. (Develop RESILIENCE)
*Although technology is making things more easier, because of all the information that you'll be bombarded with daily you're going to feel overwhelmed, and if you're not 100%
sure about your decision to do this you might quit.
3. Do your research - find out where your strength lies... whether it be affiliate marketing (easiest way to start), or you would like to get your own website and start developing your own products. (FIND YOUR MARKET)
4. Check out the true top income earners who have been around for some time and find out what they're doing. Get familiar with their programs, especially the ones that resonate with your heart. (Find a successful person and FOLLOW them)
5. Find some methods of driving traffic that is effective and learn everthing you can about them. (Don't just try them - LEARN and DO them)
*There are many ways of generating traffic; however, don't get caught up into trying to do all of them at once. Use a few at first and make them work for you - then you can add-on others as you get more proficient.
6 Join a system that has been tried and proven over the years, is still working for ordinary people and is still producing success stories. (Don't RE-INVENT the wheel)
7. Stay clear of the "charismatic gurus" whose only purpose is to take your money and run. (Learn the "tricks-of-the-trade" before you jump in)
*Remember the old saying, "Its not all that glitters is gold." Many of them pretend to have your interest at heart, but they have something else in mind.
8. Stay clear of high ticket programs - at least until you have mastered the basics of online marketing. (Get the basics FIRST)
*The heavy hitters in these programs try to make it look easy; however, don't get caught napping.
9. Make a concerted effort to learn all you can on a daily basis about this fascinating industry. (Practice, study and teach)
10. Never ever quit. "Quitters never win and winners never quit." Keep your "WHY" at the forefront of your business. If your WHY is strong enough then nothing else matters.
11. REMEMBER THIS: People buy because of who you are! Show your authority on a topic of your choice. Choose a market that you're passionate about and watch your fortune materialize.
12. Start BRANDING Yourself from day one. Make a concious effort to do personal development courses. As Jim Rohn says, "Income seldom exceeds personal development. What you become, directly influences what you get."
Getting the basics right will lead to a good life and a profitable and rewarding experience with your online business.

The pitfall for many affiliate newcomers is that they try to sell
using the splash pages provided by the company they join. After a few years
in business, one sees countless webpages that are all exactly alike. The
same problem exists for most of any product that exists. This problem
seems to gets worse all the time.
What is ‘Niche Affiliate Marketing?’ It is a catch-phrase or
brand that I have come up with to describe a system of marketing, really.
Niche Marketing is generally understood as finding and selling products
that are kind of unique, and therefore do not have as much competition
in the market place. This concept is key to this system.
Affiliate marketing is, of course, selling memberships or products in
affiliation with another company, to get commissions, usually on a multi-level
or tiered arrangement. The seller gets commissions on their sales and also
a percentage of the sales made by members who have signed up under them.
The pitfall, for many newcomers, here is that they will try to sell,
using the splash pages provided for them by the company. After a few years
of being in business, one sees countless webpages that are all exactly
alike. The newcomer has faded into the crowd. The same problem exists for
most any product that exists; how to keep from disappearing into the multitude
of similar products. This problem, of course gets worse all the time.
So how can a well known affiliate program or any other product become
‘Niche?’ It’s all in how you present it. For one thing, you need to
put your own site together and develop your own brand or identity. I’ve
written in other articles of the great advantage to having your own domain.
Unfortunately, many newbies choose domain names the same way they pick
names for their dog; by whatever appeals to them. This is not wise because
there is an exact science to selecting a domain or brand that has to do
with search engines and keywords.
One cannot under value the importance of this science, since research
shows that 95% of internet users use the internet like a yellow pages directory;
they go right to their favorite search engine. This makes search engines
and search ranking the most important of all means to advertise.
When you come up with a name or brand, for your business, put some
thought into it. Remember, it doesn't matter how good or artful the
name you choose is, if it's not something that people actually type into
their favorite search engine box.
You might think that you've come up with the greatest and catchiest
name in the world. It may make perfect sense to you and seem to be a perfect
description but, if no one else ever thinks of typing this name into the
search box, it doesn't do you much good.
Start by making a list of possible names. I always recommend that you
put yourself in the place of your prospective customers. Ask yourself what
keyphrases you would type into a search box if you were looking for the
kind of service or product that you offer.
Ask yourself what types of general descriptions your business would
be found under and start making some lists. Then comes the important part.
Research the keyword phrases on your list.
Find out, for sure, if people have been typing in the keyword phrases
that you have come up with and exactly how many. While doing this part
of the research, you should easily be able to collect hundreds of pertinant
keywords and keyword phrases that you can use on your website.
After doing your research, make your selection from your list for
your new name and or URL. This is where the niche part comes in. Select
a phrase that you believe you can reasonably get to the top of a search
engine page with. Use this as a domain name.
